I am a Humanities teacher by trade. The middle years are the sweet spot for me and teaching as I have experienced learners ranging from grade 4 to adults - online, in person and a hybrid of both. The energy and enthusiasm of our 11-14 year old students keeps me motivated and passionate for teaching and learning. Hands on learning, inquiry, critical, creative and reflecting thinking as well as building connections and safe and respectful environments fuel my pedagogy and philosophy.
