I have 30+ years of experience with Microsoft products and services, including 21 years as a Microsoft employee where I helped ship many products and services that together drove billions in revenue. I'm a former Senior Product Marketing Manager at Microsoft where I worked on the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot agents, Exchange Online, Exchange Server SE, Skype for Business Server SE, Cross-tenant data migration, Microsoft 365 Networking, Advanced Data Residency, and Datacenter Launches for Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365.
I was also a Senior Program Manager on the Office 365 Trust Team at Microsoft, where I worked on building trust with customers through transparency initiatives, and on making it easier for customers to perform risk assessments of Microsoft cloud services. I managed Microsoft's internal cloud control framework and mappings against numerous regulations and standards, including NIST, FedRAMP, ISO/IEC, SOC, PCI DSS, GDPR, and many more. I also helped develop Compliance Manager in Microsoft 365, the Service Trust Portal, the Microsoft Trust Center, and Office 365 Service Assurance.
I was also a Principal Technical Writer on the Exchange Server team where I wrote extensive complex product documentation and helped develop award-winning tools such as the Exchange Server Deployment Assistant and the Exchange Server Best Practices Analyzer.
I've delivered hundreds of original presentations at internal and external Microsoft events and industry conferences worldwide, including Microsoft 365 Community Conference, Thrive, NTK, NetWork, NIC Empower, and many more.
I just published The Admin's Guide to Microsoft Exchange Server SE, and before joining Microsoft, I wrote Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Distilled (Addison-Wesley, 2004) and I was the lead author of Exchange 2000 Server: The Complete Reference (Osborne McGraw-Hill, 2001), among other publications.

The Admin's Guide to Microsoft 365 Copilot
There's a lot of information and guidance available for Microsoft 365 Copilot for users, but not as much for admins. This session focuses on the admin side of Copilot, from initial setup in the Microsoft 365 admin center, to auding and monitoring with Microsoft Purview and other tools, to measuring and reporting on use and productivity.
If you manage a cloud tenant that includes Microsoft 365 Copilot, you'll definitely want to attend this session to ensure you're familiar with all aspects of Microsoft 365 Copilot administration.
Microsoft Exchange Server Security Best Practices
Securing Exchange is one of the most important things you can do to limit exposure to attacks. If compromised, Exchange provides a unique environment that could allow attackers to perform various tasks. This session covers Microsoft's recommended best practices for securing your Exchange Server environment.
Microsoft Exchange Online Security Best Practices
Microsoft Exchange remains a key target of attack by bad actors. Whether you are in the cloud, on-premises, or in a hybrid configuration, securing Exchange is one of the most important things you can do. This session covers Microsoft's recommended best practices for securing Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid environments.
Everything you need to know about Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition
Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE) is the latest incarnation of an almost 30-year-old server product, and as of this conference, it is the only supported version of Exchange Server, and that isn't going to change. Exchange Server SE starts its life very similar to Exchange Server 2019, but there are differences. There are even more differences when compared to Exchange Server 2016. This session will (try) to tell you everything you need to know about Exchange Server SE to successfully deploy it in your organization. Since no new features were introduced in the RTM release of Exchange Server SE, I'll also cover what to expect in CU1 and CU2 when they ship in 2026.
