The Customer-Facing Duo of the Decade: Custom Copilot with Power Pages
Elevate your portal to new heights in this high-energy, high-ROI session combining Power Pages and Copilot Studio. These tools are often approached as separate topics, but Sean and Franco will showcase how to combine them to give your customers a wonderfully personal experience when they visit your website.
You’ll walk away from this session ready to implement an AI chatbot on your website, talking to your data, with minimal use of your time. Cut out more clicks, frustration and staff time than you ever dreamt possible.
What we’ll cover:
- OOTB Portals chatbot integration and generative search with demos using SharePoint and Dataverse
- The “gotchas” and “Oh I wish I knew that beforehand” limitations of Copilot Studio
- Little tweaks that maximize value
- How to extend and push the boundaries leveraging Power Automate and Azure AI Foundry
- How to tie in knowledge, document gathering and automation
Power Platform Security 404 -- A Murder Mystery Where You’re The Detective!
VNets, Gateways, DLP, Outbound Traffic -- all terms that spook even the most senior engineer, but not you! In this action-packed detective adventure, we’ll dive into all the hidden security risks of Power Platform and how to prevent them.
Why 404? Because it’s Security 101, only four times more challenging and demanding.
No boring lecture here -- as soon as you enter the session, you’ll be transported to a crime scene where you, the audience, will play the role of security detectives in a “Clue”-style investigation.
Together, we’ll examine the crime scene:
- Plugins with too much power
- Power Automate leaking sensitive data
- Power Pages exposing confidential records
- API doors left wide open
- Misconfigured DLP policies
- Supply chain attack
The deeper we dig, the more fun the puzzle becomes:
- Seal the breach with VNet integration, static IPs, and gateways
- Lock down Dataverse APIs, connectors, and plugins at the network level
- Stop outbound HTTP traffic from opening secret tunnels
- Fortify Power Pages, Power BI, and your entire infrastructure

You’ll leave with a practical checklist of what to watch out for, how to fix it, and how to build secure solutions across the platform—before your data ends up where it shouldn’t.
🕵️♂️ The case is open. The clues are there. Can you catch the breach before the trail runs cold?
Extremely Accurate AI: Leveraging Azure AI Search, MCP & Foundry with Copilot Studio
AI doesn't have to be a “Black Box”. With just a few Azure tools you can take complete control over what AI is doing and get the exact results you expect....EVERY TIME.
This all-demo session will showcase how the right combination of Azure AI Search, MCP, Azure Functions and Azure AI Foundry, can consistently give exact results in Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
These techniques aren’t theoretical! They’re what took our AI practice from distrusting, to being essential for how our business runs today.
Part 1: Azure AI Search
After configuring AI Search live, we’ll show example after example of how AI search outperforms OOTB Copilot Studio connectors both in speed and accuracy
Part 2: Complex Queries WITH Complex Transparency
When you need to ask Dataverse complicated questions, you need to get creative. We’ll build an Azure function that leverages the TDS endpoint in Dataverse, and can answer complex questions about your data, even ones that fetchXML can’t handle!
Part 3: AI Foundry
Having a Copilot is nice but what if you had a Clone-pilot? i.e. an agent that sounded exactly like you who could respond to questions, so you don’t have to. We’ll explore fine-tuning in Azure AI Foundry that literally uses your data (not prompts), to sound like you, and not a robot.
Part 4: MCP
Model-context protocol seems to replace much of what the Copilot Studio connectors used to offer, especially around Dataverse, but we'll separate fact from fiction.
Sean is often praised as a captivating presenter with an uncanny ability to make complex topics super easy to understand, and he can’t wait to showcase these tools.
3 ways Solution Architects build flexible solutions with minimal effort
If "Low Code" is supposed to be "Low Effort", why is everyone working so hard?
In this highly interactive and technical session, we'll explore 3 key areas where Solutions Architects build flexible solutions with minimal effort: Performance, Reusability and "over architecting".
Technical demos will feature Power Automate, Canvas Apps, Dataverse and sprinkles of SharePoint and Power Bi to illustrate the concepts.

The ALM / CICD Session you've been waiting for (Poutine Paradise)
This is the workshop where ALM “finally clicks” all thanks to Poutine! Learning Azure DevOps is critical if you want to apply professional software best practices to Low Code. Fear not! Sean and Parvez train Solutions Architects every month, and have an unmatched reputation for making complex topics understandable, and even fun.
In this all-day workshop you’ll be helping the company “Poutine Paradise” move from a simple solution to a full-blown enterprise level ALM pipeline! Everything will be in Azure DevOps and the best part, it’s so adaptable you can begin implementing the same setup at your work tomorrow.
Part 1 – The “Gravy” Train
Starting in a Dev Dataverse solution, we’re going to connect it to source control in a few easy steps. Along the way, it’ll start to become crystal clear how GIT work, the advantages of using repos, and the time saved when using release pipelines. Lay the tracks and skip the hacks.
Part 2 – Production was fried...until you saved the day
Everything is going well but oh no! There is a major fire, not at the factory, but in Production! Normally you would deploy a new solution with a fix, but not anymore! You’ll leverage the pipeline you just built to roll back the solution. We’ll even take your existing User Stories and Tasks, and tie them to the deployments. You’ll see how much of a life-saver it is to have a history of changes, and your PM will have actual “proof” work is done.
Part 3 – AI & Gourmet Features
We've saved the best for last – AI in Solution Deployment! We’ll showcase how AI can assist in not only tracking work completion, but spot issues in Solutions before they’re deployed. Prevent the curd fire before it starts. We’ll dive into complex deployment scenarios, and you’ll have the opportunity to spot where the problem can be and how to resolve it.
This is not some generic "Demo of how to set up CICD"; we're moving fast, covering a lot, and without anyone getting lost because we know exactly how tricky this topic can be.
Power Automate: Performance without the Pain
Simple to advanced strategies to make your Power Automate flows run lightning fast. If you're not careful, Power Automate can run sloooow leading to time-outs and impatient users. We'll go over proven and saleable techniques that will 10x the speed of your flows. Bonus! They'll use much LESS code to accomplish the same thing. Speed and Tidiness together: Win-win.
We'll use Dataverse, SharePoint and Excel in the demos to make sure it's applicable to everyone's work environment. We'll also explore common pitfalls in Power Automate that lead to unexpected performance hiccups.
