Sean Rickerd, CISSP, is a cybersecurity practitioner focused on cloud-native security, offensive security, Zero Trust workload identity, and agentic AI. He currently works in OpenShift Security at Red Hat and brings more than 20 years of experience across Linux, infrastructure, cloud-native platforms, and security.

Sean approaches security from an adversarial perspective: rather than asking whether a control works as intended, he asks what happens when a workload, user, or AI agent actively looks for another path.
He speaks and writes regularly about Kubernetes security, AI risk, authorization, and the gap between security intent and actual enforcement. His work includes conference talks and security demonstrations at events such as DEF CON and Black Hat.
