An initial developer and co-founder of Jahia, Serge Huber oversees the technical development of all Jahia software and connects with integrators and partners to help them leverage Jahia solutions. He is a member of the Apache Software Foundation and Chair of the Apache Unomi project management committee as well as a co-chair of the OASIS Customer Data Platform Specification. Before Jahia, he co-created Xo3 and MyComponents, serving as CTO and co-founder at both companies.

With more than 25 years of experience developing web content management (WCM), content management systems (CMS), portal and digital experience platform (DXP) solutions, Serge constantly strives to find new ways to build high quality, high performance software.
Serge’s software development skills range from assembly language to high-end data modeling tools. He is very comfortable on stage in front of a large audience and has spoken and delivered keynote addresses at many tech events, including ApacheCon, Oracle/Java One, and Devoxx.

Serge has a master’s degree in computer science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Lausanne). In his free time, he develops multi-platform mobile applications and helps with the fearless flying seminar in Geneva, Switzerland. His motto is, “I strive to do the impossible.”
