Springfield Devs is a nonprofit focused on educating, inspiring, and supporting developers, agencies, and professionals in the Greater Springfield, MO community.
One of the main ways we do that is through our monthly Dev Night, hosted at the efactory and streamed online. These free events include food, networking, and one or more sessions on topics related to software development.
Talks can take the form of lightning talks, discussion panels, or more traditional 45–60 minute sessions. We welcome anything and everything dev. This includes languages, frameworks, tooling, career growth, and adjacent tech topics.
Our audience includes industry veterans, junior and mid level developers, and students from local colleges and universities. Content that is practical, engaging, and forward looking connects strongly with this community.
Given that our group focus on software development as a whole, we don't make too many recommendations about exactly what type of content to submit. Broadly speaking sessions that fit in any of this categories are a good fit for our events.
