The Future of Research: How Ai is Transforming Academic Research and Collaboration

Abstract:

Tittle :The Future of Research: How Ai is Transforming Academic Research and Collaboration.

This study explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on academic research and collaboration. AI-powered tools and techniques are revolutionizing the research process, enabling researchers to process vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make predictions. AI is also facilitating collaboration among researchers across disciplines and geographical boundaries, fostering a more inclusive and global research community. The study examines the availability and impact of AI tools in academic institutions, their potential to accelerate scientific progress, improve research quality, and address complex societal challenges. The research methodology employed is qualitative, using interviews with a population of 8 professional staff at KASU E-Library. The findings highlight the significance of AI in enhancing research collaboration, workflow, and output, as well as the challenges associated with its adoption, including technical expertise, training, ethical concerns, and data privacy issues. The study recommends necessary actions to address these challenges and fully harness the potential of AI in academic research and collaboration.
