Shan Edwards is a CPA with over 15 years of experience helping middle market companies accelerate their business growth through a broad range of leadership activities, including finance, operations, and business strategy.

Shan has held executive leadership positions with several organizations, including a cloud services firm where he led the development and launch of a cloud service offering providing security, financial and engineering solutions for over 175 businesses.

Driven by his passion for finance and the power of the cloud to accelerate business growth, Shan now guides finance and professionals to become Cloud Finance Leaders by utilizing their core finance expertise. Through a series of cloud-centered trainings or bootcamps, finance professionals acquire a sound understanding of cloud technologies and learn how to actively participate in their organization’s FinOps efforts. With Cloud Finance Leader status, finance professionals are then able better understand how to dramatically improve their cloud ROI by implementing proven cloud reporting and savings techniques.

Shan earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and MBA from Utah State University and began his career with KPMG before pivoting to the corporate world. In his free time, Shan enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, reading, and trail running in the Wasatch mountains with his wonder dog Oakley.
