Sherita Cash is a doctoral candidate, Certified Scrum Master, and higher education professional with over 15 years of experience transforming the spaces she walks into. Currently pursuing her EdD at Augusta University’s College of Education and Human Development, Sherita’s research explores how college students develop emotional agility through VR-based meditation immersion. This work sits at the intersection of technology, wellbeing, and human potential.
What makes Sherita’s voice distinct is her refusal to keep good frameworks in a box. She has applied Scrum and Agile methodology across classrooms, research design, special education, and her own personal development, proving that these principles are far bigger than software. As a life coach, educator, and researcher, she has spent her career helping people move from where they are to where they want to be, and Agile gave her a shared language for that journey.
Sherita currently serves Augusta University as a Graduate Research Assistant, GSGA Representative, and Graduate School Ambassador. She is also a candidate for Vice President of the Graduate Student Government Association, where she is championing cross-campus collaboration and Scrum-informed project leadership.
When she is not writing dissertations or building frameworks, you can find her somewhere in the world — from Tanzania to Ireland — collecting experiences that remind her why growth never stops.
