Shinsuke Eguchi (they/he) is a Professor of Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at Wake Forest University. Dr. Eguchi is an interdisciplinary scholar whose work engages queer of color critique, intersectionality, and transnationalism to examine interlocking systems of domination rooted in socially constructed categories of difference, including gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, nation, and the body. They are the author of the award-winning Asians Loving Asians: Sticky Rice Homoeroticism and Queer Politics (2022, Peter Lang). They have published extensively, both individually and collaboratively, in a range of peer-reviewed journals, including Women’s Studies in Communication, Journal of Men’s Studies, Sexuality & Culture, Journal of Homosexuality, Journal of Communication Inquiry, Communication, Culture & Critique, and Critical Studies in Media Communication.
