I am a Code Newbie career changer from Math teacher to Full Stack Web Developer. In 2016, after returning from three years of teaching in Abu Dhabi, I attended Digitalcrafts, an immersive coding school. During the bootcamp, I attended my first Hackathon hosted by The Goodie Nation and won First place with my team of all women of color. I participate a member of Women Who Code, Black Women in STEM and a volunteer with Black Girls Code. I am a connoisseur of “Big Data” and an avid traveler who also possesses a passion for community activism.
