Shiva loves working with technical community leaders around the world who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of cutting-edge technology. Community empowerment is at the core of her work, and this is why she thrives in creating meaningful opportunities for community members to get excited and involved in co-creating Microsoft's content and learning experiences.

At the core of what she does is bringing people together and making wonderful things happen - especially those that's never happened before.

Many moons ago, she launched and delivered Australia’s first enrichment-focused professional learning program, which saw over 900+ schoolteachers transforming their pedagogy and inspiring their students to pursue an interest in STEM subjects.

Before coming to Australia, she was responsible for cultivating alliances and partnerships that resulted in passing two landmark pieces of legislation that mandate the use of renewable energy and biofuels in the Philippines.

She loves inspiring people with her stories on cracking the code into a career in tech, rebuilding a life as an immigrant, and growing one's personal network (even during a pandemic).
