Shubham Chaturvedi is a Manager of AML & Financial Crime Technology with over 12 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing financial crime detection systems for major global financial institutions. He specializes in replacing legacy commercial AML platforms — including NICE Actimize and Oracle Mantas — with scalable, cost-effective, cloud-native solutions built on AWS services like Glue, Lambda, S3, and PySpark, orchestrated through Apache Airflow and deployed via Jenkins CI/CD.

Over his career, Shubham has led cloud migration and detection-system engagements for firms including Nomura, Flagstar Bank, and Raymond James, architecting end-to-end pipelines for transaction monitoring, KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, and insider trading detection. He is passionate about sharing practical lessons from real-world legacy-to-cloud migrations with the broader data and engineering community.
