Shyam Laheri Chunduri is a technology and business leader with extensive experience spanning technical sales, engineering leadership, embedded software, and digital engineering solutions. He currently serves as Director of Technical Sales at ARI, where he is responsible for driving client satisfaction, business growth, engineering solution strategy, and profit and loss objectives. Throughout his career, he has built long-term relationships with Fortune 500 clients across the agriculture, construction, mining, and automotive industries while delivering engineering services that include embedded software, digital solutions, manufacturing engineering, robotics, automation, and testing.
With a strong background in both engineering and business leadership, Shyam has successfully led global delivery models, managed cross-functional teams, and developed strategic client partnerships that align technology initiatives with business objectives. His expertise includes technical sales, engineering services, strategic planning, client relationship management, program management, change management, and solution consulting. In his current role, he has transformed customer engagements into full-service global accounts and consistently delivered year-over-year revenue growth while identifying innovative technology solutions that support client success.
Before transitioning into technical sales leadership, Shyam held several engineering management roles at ARI and Caterpillar, where he led embedded software development, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, validation engineering, automation initiatives, and product development programs. He managed large engineering organizations, directed global development teams, established engineering standards, implemented automation strategies, and drove technology roadmaps for complex embedded systems. His experience also includes overseeing multi-million-dollar engineering programs, mentoring technical teams, managing product development lifecycles, and collaborating with manufacturing, operations, sales, and product engineering organizations to deliver high-quality solutions.
Shyam began his career in engineering roles focused on embedded systems, autonomous vehicle technologies, control systems, RF systems, and software development before progressing into leadership positions. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Controls from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunications from AMIETE, India. He also completed the Caterpillar Leadership Development Program at Peking University, further strengthening his executive leadership capabilities.
