Siddhartha Erelli is a construction engineer who sits where field execution meets digital innovation. An alumnus of California State University, Fresno, he is a Field Engineer II at Flatiron Construction. There he leads daily field operations on a fast-paced, mission-critical data center project, coordinating subcontractors, craft labor, superintendents and suppliers to keep production, safety and schedule on track.
His field experience spans heavy civil infrastructure and mission-critical construction. Throughout his career, he has contributed to projects including Project Domino, UAL RAPP, DEN Tanks & Valves, Ackerman Creek Bridge Replacement, and CV Link Bike Path. Across these projects, he has coordinated multiple subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders simultaneously in fast-paced environments, managed material procurement, resolved field conflicts, and tracked cost and installation progress to support safe, efficient execution. On those projects, he cut RFI, submittal, and change-order turnaround by about 15% and built automated Excel-based tracking tools that reduced manual reporting by 25%, all while contributing to a zero-incident safety record. Earlier, as a field engineer intern at Flatiron, he supported QA/QC and field coordination on High-Speed Rail Segment 1 and its precast yard.
Siddhartha brings the same data-driven approach to his research. His work covers digital twins, AI-powered predictive analytics, construction cost forecasting, and financial transparency, with papers submitted to international venues including ACS 2025, the ICCRIP 2025 proceedings (Springer Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering), and IIPEM 2025.
He holds an M.S. in Construction Management and Technology from Fresno State, earned with a 3.9 GPA, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from GITAM. During graduate school, he received the CMAA Northern California CM Scholarship Award, the Rising CM Individual Scholarship, the Edison International Research Award, the Robert & Norma Craig Graduate Scholarship Award, and the Dean’s Scholarship.
