I'm Siddhartha Saxena, co-founder and CTO at Merlin AI, where we're building an AI Office suite to help people research and create content more effectively. Over the past decade, I've been fortunate to witness deep neural nets evolve from sophisticated handwriting detectors to systems that can encode complex world models. I started my career as a researcher, working with Bayesian machine learning techniques and a mixture of expert models, before transitioning to building large-scale deep learning models for ID verification at Jumio AI Labs in Montreal. At Merlin, our team has grown to serve millions of users globally, and we've raised $8.3 million to further our mission of making AI tools accessible to everyone. As a speaker at the AI Engineering Summit, I'm looking forward to sharing our experiences in operationalizing MCPs and discussing how we can make AI technology more useful for everyday work.
