Sihem Bensalah is currently pursuing her PhD in English Literature at Yonsei University. She earned her Master's degree in Paris, where her thesis explored the intricate relationship between the postcolonial subject’s physical body and its representation in postcolonial writings. This exploration ignited her passion for bridging the gap between the corporeal body of literary characters and the textual embodiment of their narratives. Throughout her doctoral studies, Sihem is dedicated to expanding literary research by rigorously examining the physicality of text and its connection to the human body. Her goal is to create new possibilities within the interdisciplinary intersection of literature and the human body.
