His first baby step in the world of IT was battling with dialup modems as internet support in the late 90's. His career since then has taken Simon though DevOps, operations, cloud compute, Platform Engineering and then on the Engineering Leadership , steering teams to craft software solutions for Atlassian customers. Passionate about knowledge sharing, Simon has facilitated training programs, empowering engineers to delve into niche concepts around Cloud, FinOps, Kubernetes, and working at scale.
