In 2018, I embarked on a journey to the University of Knowledge as a mature student, seeking to expand my horizons. By 2019, I had joined the ranks of the computer and information services department as a student staff member. Little did I know, my destiny was about to intertwine with the mysterious and powerful realm of Power Apps.

Summoned by the AV team, I was tasked with creating a single Power App. However, what began as a solitary mission soon evolved into a series of Power Apps and flows, each one more impactful than the last. These creations brought balance and efficiency to many users within the university, earning me recognition and respect.

By 2023, I had ascended to the rank of a full-time staff member, becoming a guardian of the Power Platform. My role expanded to include the administration, strategy, governance, and policies of this powerful tool. I also crafted the Makers Journey, a path designed to empower and enable new Makers across the galaxy.

When first confronted with the challenge of Power Apps, I had no knowledge of its existence. Driven by curiosity and determination, I delved into the vast archives of information, learning and adapting my previously acquired skills to master the Power Platform. Despite holding a degree in Human Health and Illness, my self-taught knowledge of HTML and coding proved invaluable.

Through my journey, I discovered a vibrant community of knowledge within the Power Platform, making it accessible to all who wished to learn. My passion for strategy, governance, policies, and enablement shone brightly, guiding others to automate, improve, and save time and effort.

Thus, in the ever-expanding universe of technology, I continue to be a beacon of hope and innovation, inspiring others to harness the power of the platform and bring about positive change. May the Force of the Power Platform be with us, always.
