Dr. Segun H. Olugbile is a leading digital policy advisor in digital transformation, e-commerce, Internet governance, cybersecurity, and data protection. He is President of the Institute of Information Protection & Privacy (IIPP) and the National Digital Economy Coordinator of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA). He is a former member of the UN Internet Governance Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group (2014-2017), co-chaired the UN IGF Cybersecurity Best Practice Forum (2015-2017), and facilitated the Global IGF Main Session on Cybersecurity. Co-founded the Global Network for Cybersolution and the Nigeria Internet Governance Forum. a Senior Faculty at the Financial Institution Training Centre (FITC), . He is a member of the Global Skills Development Council's advisory board for cybersecurity (USA), and co-chair of the International Centre for Emerging Technology at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. A pioneer member of the National Cybercrime Advisory Council, Office of the National Security Adviser, a policy architect of the 1st National Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy (NCPS, 2014), a principal co-developer of the NCPS 2021 version, Nigeria Data Protection legislation (2018), the Commission Strategic Action Plan (2023), and the National E-Commerce Policy & Strategy. A former Board Member of the Africa ICT Alliance and co-founder of the Nigeria Internet Governance Forum, and co-founder of Data Analytics Privacy Technology (DAPT) - A pioneer licensed Data Protection Compliance Organization in Nigeria.
