Sophia Pan is an English PhD student at the University of Florida. Her research lies in Asian American children’s literature and young adult comics, with a focus on graphic memoirs. In researching these fields, Sophia’s goals are to not only shed light on diverse published works that illuminate the multi-faceted Asian American identity but also uncover the ways in which memories are produced, remembered, and re-envisioned in literature.
