Previously, Sergio was the Senior Director and Lab Head of the Think Tank Team at Samsung Research America, where he led multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to create innovative user experience-driven products. His work spans AI-first platforms, robotics, AR/VR, and wearables, with notable achievements such as Samsung’s first smartwatch, the world’s first 360 3D camera, and Samsung's first home robot companion.

Earlier in his career, Sergio conducted research at the MIT Media Lab, where he explored cutting-edge hardware and software experiences bridging the physical and digital worlds. A multiple award-winning inventor, Sergio holds over 35 patents and combines deep technical expertise with a strong product vision, backed by over a decade of success in driving 0-to-1 product innovation for global markets.
