Sreekanth Putta is a Senior Software Engineer at SAP Concur and one of the early people inside SAP pushing AI into day-to-day engineering work. Over the last couple of years, he has built internal agents, workflow automation systems and MCPs that actually make developers faster. Because of this, he naturally became the “AI person” many teams go to, and he now runs regular internal sessions where he explains concepts, shows demos, and helps engineers use AI in real projects. His contributions earned him recognition as one of the torchbearers for applied AI inside SAP.

He got into software almost a decade ago out of a simple fascination with how code can solve problems at impossible speeds. Then OpenAI’s moment hit and it reignited that curiosity. Since then, he’s been experimenting constantly, building small tools and turning them into practical systems that people around him actually use.

Outside of work, he enjoys skydiving and tennis. And like many engineers hooked on AI right now, he ends up staying awake longer than he should, sometimes missing sleep or even catching a nap in the office or his car — all to make time for the zillion things he wants to learn and build.
