Dr. Stanley Liu is the Chair and Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at NSU. He directs the NSU Health Breathe & Sleep Wellness Center. Previously, he was the Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he directed the sleep surgery fellowship. Dr. Liu completed dental and medical schools at U.C.S.F., during which he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) medical scholar. He also completed OMFS residency at UCSF, followed by sleep surgery fellowship at Stanford. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Liu’s practice and research focus on upper airway surgery for sleep-disordered breathing (SDB). He has published over 120 original texts, with updates on nasal, pharyngeal, skeletal, and neurostimulation surgery for SDB. He is a frequent Keynote speaker for preeminent conferences in sleep medicine.
