Hands-on Future Lab: What is collaboration in a human-AI-hybrid workforce?

Participants experience a 2035 scenario: we visit a fictional company where AI-human hybrid processes are already implemented. Through this simulation, you encounter real collaboration challenges and opportunities firsthand – not in theory. The workshop closes with structured reflection: what did you learn about hybrid teams, and what does that mean for your organization today?

Hackfestival 2024
I served as moderator for the first of its kind “Decarbonize the Planet” Hackfestival held from September 6-8, 2024 in Mannheim’s Congress Center. This innovative event combined a large-scale hackathon with public programming for citizens, bringing together over 1000 tech talents from across Europe to tackle critical sustainability challenges. As moderator, I facilitated the event which included the first ever „Flixathon“ (a hackathon on a Flixbus), six coding challenges proposed by leading corporations and an opening by ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst.
Futures Lounge #24: Neue Horizonte 2045 – Zukunftslandkarte und Szenarien
The scenarios for Germany 2045 were presented by the core team as part of the “New Horizons 2045” project (in German). Part of the process was a diverse foresight scenario team including external experts from public and non-profit organizations as well as corporates. As external expert and part of the scenario team, I provided insights into the process and scenarios and expectations for the next project phase. The project itself builds on previous scenarios and aims for a successful transformation towards climate neutrality.
