Stephanie Gattas, is a United States Navy Veteran, an accomplished entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and a visionary who followed her passion of giving back to the military community. Having served two overseas tours on the USS Simon Lake, she is both a Gulf War and Post 911 Veteran. After service, she founded The Pink Berets in 2015, an organization that assists women of the US Armed Forces and veterans who struggle with the invisible wounds of war such as Post Traumatic Stress and Military Sexual Trauma. With her pioneering spirit, she brings a deep understanding of the mental health ecosystem as it applies to the veteran community. Stephanie’s work has caused ripple effects in the field of mental health for women veterans and has testified to congress multiple times championing for legislative change. She has notably been invited as a speaker for organizations such as USAA, Minority Veterans of America, Military Influencer Conference, Texas A&M, TVC, and the National Women's Law Center. She is a captivating and insightful speaker who brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to her audience to leave them with thought provoking ideas and motivation to help drive change. She is currently on the Advisory Board for the National Institute of Justice, Department of Defense Advisory Committee for the Prevention of Sexual Misconduct, and the Honorable Denis McDonoughs VA Workgroup for Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault in the VA.
