Steve spent over 30 developing software applications and websites for clients ranging from small "mom and pop" businesses to international food suppliers and travel agencies. Quite by accident, since 1999, his company, Geeks and Gurus, shifted from a small development shop to a highly customer-oriented A/V company providing services to meeting and conferences all over country. Early in 2022, Steve will be launching Conference Geeks to focus solely on in-person, virtual and hybrid events.

Although it has been a while, Steve spent many years speaking at developer conferences such as CodeStock, That Conference, CodeMash, Southwest Fox and a variety of others.

During the pandemic, Steve and his team have fully embraced the new virtual meeting space and have produced virtual events, hybrid events featuring "talent" including teachers, lawyers, publishers, network anchors, internationally renowned scientists, governors, and a variety of c-level personnel.
