With a background in law enforcement and cybersecurity, Steve Dyson is a senior manager at Echelon Risk & Cyber. He is highly skilled in cyber risk management, cloud security, threat mitigation, and intelligence gathering and analysis, having developed expertise in a range of cybersecurity incident response and threat hunting tools, as well as in information security system design, management, and analysis. Steve also brings a wealth of specialized experience in both Healthcare and Financial Services sectors and has a legal background focused on regulatory compliance and digital privacy. Prior to joining Echelon, Steve was a Principal Consultant at Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 focused on Cloud Security, Security Operations Center (SOC) readiness, and other GRC functions. Prior to Unit 42, he helped to build the SOC capabilities at a mid-sized regional healthcare system in Philadelphia, PA and worked as Cyber Operations Consultant for a growing consulting firm. Before entering the Cybersecurity field he worked in state law enforcement and in the USMC.
