Hi, I’m Steve. I’m Chief Revenue Officer at Truly SMB. We’re a global Microsoft partner, laser focused on helping small businesses get the most of technology, particularly AI and automation.

My role is all about making sure what we sell, and the language we use to talk about it, sounds good to small business owners. We try to talk without jargon, and assume not every small business owner knows the entire Microsoft product set before we speak to them!

Our revolutionary approach at Truly SMB is about business fitness. We call it TrulyFIT. We work with a customer to understand their long term goals, and then our ‘programs’ and ‘workouts’ help break these down into achievable chunks. This delivers easy to understand, incremental gains. We cover AI Business Solutions, IT Support & Security and Cloud & AI platforms

I was previously CTO at Bam Boom Cloud, Microsoft's Partner of the Year for Dynamics 365 Business Central in 2019 and 2022, finalists in 2020/2021. We were acquired by Pax8 in 2023. I spent 2 years building out awesome new partner enablement programs for our partners at Pax8, a global tech marketplace.

I'm also an FCA qualified accountant and love geeking out on the latest tech!

Women in Dynamics: A session for guys

In this session we’ll learn how you can grow your business, recruit top talent, and increase profitability! All that’s needed in return is learning how to take the step from diversity ally to advocate, which is what this session is all about.

Bam Boom Cloud’s approach to building customer lifetime value from a high volume base

Bam Boom Cloud are a high volume partner. Built for scale, lower value projects delivered quickly and repeatable. Right? Well…yes, that is right. However, with each of those high volume implementations comes a customer. A customer with their own business, their own business pain points and their own growth aspirations. What happens after they’re live?

We know we love to talk around speed of deployment. We shout (pretty loud!) on LinkedIn about our approach and our methods. But we’ve not shared much about our long term relationship with customers. Do we have high churn? Do we do development work? Do we ever do more than core finance?
