Steve worked as a developer and solution architect over 25 years. During his career Steve had the chance to work with many software development methodologies and frameworks. He started to work with Extreme Programming in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, then around 2005 he was introduced to Scrum.

Steve went through a journey from not being very enthusiastic to becoming an agile ambassador. He learned, used, and taught classes to clients on XP, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, and various other “hybrid” frameworks of agile.

Over the years, he also worked as a Scrum Master, Agile Consultant, Agile Coach, and Leadership Coach.

Steve loves teaching and coaching people, as well as helping them reach personal and professional goals that they did not think they would ever reach.

At the age of 63, Steve decided it was time to start working for himself and started @Phoenix Rising Trans4mation where his mission is to help people learn how to improve the way they work in order to provide better value to their customers, their organizations, and themselves.
