Steven A. Ross, Ph.D., is an author, international lecturer, researcher, and President and Co-Founder of the World Research Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization devoted to preserving and sharing knowledge concerning health, healing, human potential, and the relationship between science and spirituality. For more than five decades, he has explored both established and unconventional approaches to understanding the human being, bringing together insights from medicine, philosophy, consciousness research, ancient traditions, and emerging science.

Dr. Ross is the author of six books and the curator of an extraordinary research library containing approximately 15,000 physical books—some dating back nearly a thousand years—along with tens of thousands of historical and contemporary digital works. His research has taken him into subjects ranging from complementary medicine, energy and frequency-based approaches, dreams, consciousness, and the electromagnetic spectrum to the writings of philosophers and physician-philosophers such as Plato, Plotinus, Paracelsus, Marsilio Ficino, and Robert Fludd. Rather than asking audiences simply to accept or reject unfamiliar ideas, he encourages a more fundamental question: What has the human being actually been observed to do?

As a speaker, Dr. Ross brings more than half a century of research, personal exploration, and encounters with physicians, scientists, healers, indigenous knowledge keepers, and unconventional thinkers from around the world. His presentations invite audiences to reconsider the boundaries we have placed around human possibility while maintaining curiosity about both evidence and mystery. He has delivered more than 200 lectures and podcasts and as been featured on GAIA with twelve shows.
