Sujoy Datta Choudhury is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering large-scale software programs. Currently serving as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, he specializes in building and optimizing cloud platforms, MCP servers, and AI-driven agent systems.
At Amazon, Sujoy has led the architecture and delivery of an event-driven orchestrator that translated publisher commitments into pacing signals and bidding rules for television advertising. He co-architected a real-time AI pipeline that generated page- and product-specific keywords, improving fill rate while sustaining high-volume event processing.
During his tenure as Lead Engineer and VP at BlackRock Inc., Sujoy led an AI-powered assistant program. He delivered a RAG-based chatbot that deflected a significant portion of routine client queries. He architected and led Argos, a regulatory workflow platform that scaled execution to handle substantial daily activity volumes. He also developed a Text-to-SQL agent aimed at achieving significant productivity gains.
His technical expertise includes Java, Python, Bash, SQL, Spring, Kafka, various AWS services, and RAG & agentic systems with LLM orchestration using LangChain. He has experience with multiple database technologies, including MSSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, and Snowflake.
