Before Fin, I spent almost five years at Asana building the predictive backbone of its retention strategy:
1. A hierarchical forecasting system (ARIMA with OLS reconciliation) that projected weekly revenue loss
2. Multi-horizon gradient-boosted models for churn and expansion, which shifted Sales and Customer Success from reacting to churn to prioritizing accounts ahead of it
3. An attribution framework that tied product and support behavior directly to gross retention
4. A cross-functional feature store that standardized inputs for ML models across business units
