Suneeth Maraboina is a Senior Systems Engineer at Apple, where he designs and develops audio modules for AirPlay and CarPlay, including AI-based approaches to improving audio quality. He has spent 20 years in multimedia, audio, and signal processing — building the core media stack at Roku, leading acoustics and integrating Dolby Atmos into Windows audio drivers at Dolby Laboratories, and developing audio drivers and processing objects at Qualcomm, Intel, and Microsoft.

That work has one thing in common: it ships compiled into devices he can never reach again. It is the constraint behind his talk on the six laws of designing SDKs for hardware — and what happens to all of them when the newest thing in your library is a file of neural network weights.

He is an IEEE Senior Member, an IETE Fellow, and an SCRS Distinguished Fellow, holds a master's in signal processing from IIT Guwahati, and reviews for technical journals and judges hackathons across the US.
