Sunny Kesireddy is a distinguished Data Engineering Leader with over 10 years of experience designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native data platforms in the financial services and healthcare sectors. He currently serves as the Director of Data Engineering at BMO Financial Group, where he spearheads enterprise-wide modernization initiatives under the “Digital First” transformation strategy, specifically focused on overhauling Risk and Finance data ecosystems.
Sunny is widely recognized for his ability to lead complex cloud migrations and deliver modernized, real-time analytics platforms on AWS. His expertise encompasses advanced technologies such as Redshift Data Share, Glue, and Airflow, and his contributions have enabled seamless regulatory reporting, cross-domain data sharing, and audit-compliant architectures. His work influenced reimbursement decisions for over 500 hospitals and was cited by CMS auditors for its integrity, compliance, and operational impact on national healthcare policy.
