I have been working in the data and analytics space for over 20 years. My early experiences were in traditional data warehousing, ETL and analytic application development. More recently I've focused on big data pipelines in the cloud. While I love working with data, my real passion is engaging with others who are interested in the field -- both adults and kids. I run an eight week training program oriented towards college graduates and career switchers who want to build careers in IT (data) consulting. I regularly teach various data-related subjects as part of that program. I also enjoy mentoring data engineers and analysts. I have volunteered as a high school coding mentor, have led math and data related engagement activities with both middle and elementary school students.
