Sweta Vooda is a Master’s student in Computer Science at Georgia Tech specializing in Computing Systems. Her interests lie at the intersection of Databases, Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, and Infrastructure. She has worked on research projects involving Postgres extensions and vector search, including pgvector-remote, a prototype that integrates Postgres with remote vector databases like Pinecone. Sweta has interned at AWS and Sigma Computing, and previously worked at Amazon as a software engineer. She is passionate about building high-performance systems.
