SwiftLeeds & KotlinLeeds - Mobile Development Week in the heart of Leeds City!
We're excited to bring back SwiftLeeds for its 6th edition and launch the very first KotlinLeeds — the UK's first dedicated Kotlin conference.
Both events will be held in-person at the same excellent venue, forming a unique Mobile Development Week experience. Our conferences are run by a non-profit organisation driven by the developer community.
We want to hire a diverse panel of speakers from across the globe, and we can support you with speaker training, expenses and accommodation, so please don't be afraid to apply.
This year, we're accepting proposals for both conferences and welcoming a range of talk types and formats.
Our process is the following:
1. You submit a proposal for SwiftLeeds, KotlinLeeds, or both.
2. We close the call for papers and gather all the talks.
3. We open anonymous evaluations amongst our team of 10+ people.
4. We vote on the best talks, and we end up with a list of the best-rated talks for each conference.
Chosen speakers will be contacted by end of June/July.
We can't wait to see what you'll be speaking about :]
Important:
SwiftLeeds: 13th & 14th October, KotlinLeeds: 15th & 16th October (same venue).
We're looking for speakers within the Swift and Kotlin communities. Talks on technical topics and people management are accepted for both conferences.
Our target audience is a mix of newer developers to more seasoned engineers, so we're looking for Beginner to Advanced content across both Swift and Kotlin tracks.
All of our talks are reviewed anonymously, so we encourage you to include as much detail as possible to help our evaluators understand the content of your talk.
You can read more information on our websites: swiftleeds.co.uk and kotlinleeds.co.uk
We offer 2 nights accommodation and offer travel help if required.
