Syed Ahmed is the co-founder and CTO of Tara AI, a product delivery platform that helps engineering teams maximize impact and deliver better customer outcomes. Syed has established a decade long career as a roboticist and is a Y Combinator alum. He is a previous winner of the UN ITU Young Innovator’s Challenge and has been featured in BBC and TechCrunch for his work in Machine Learning. Syed was named as one of the top 150 innovators in the world, by UN ITU, and was awarded Forbes 30 under 30 under Enterprise Technology.

Syed has advanced degrees in Engineering Management and Data Science from the Queensland University of technology. He has spent over 10 years creating prediction engines and analyzing millions of data points to find patterns within data. Syed previously worked with the Brisbane Bureau of Meteorology on weather pattern data analysis, and spun out his early research on prediction engines, to analyze human performance and productivity. He has also worked in drone technology and was previously at Boeing engineering.
