Syed is an undergraduate computer science student majoring in cybersecurity, with a technical focus on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) frameworks. He actively engages with the local cybersecurity community, frequently volunteering for and participating in tech meetups, conferences, and hackathons. Driven by a passion for decoding adversary tradecraft and defensive counterintelligence, he works on analysing threat actor behaviours to develop and come up with proactive disruption strategies. By transforming raw, distributed data points into high-fidelity intelligence, he aims to map perimeter exposures before they can be exploited.

Currently, Syed is investigating the cyber threat landscape within the maritime sector alongside practical threat-modelling methodologies. Moving forward, he aims to forge a career in CTI, with a long-term interest in OT/ICS/SCADA security, satellite security, and contributing back to the open-source community.
