Transforming Chemistry Education with AI, Inquiry-Based Learning and Real-World Applications.

Chemistry education is evolving beyond memorization to embrace curiosity, critical thinking and meaningful learning. This session explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI), inquiry-based pedagogy and real-world applications can transform traditional chemistry classrooms into engaging, future-ready learning environments.

Drawing on over a decade of experience teaching secondary science and mentoring competitive exams like JEE/NEET aspirants, I will share practical, classroom-tested strategies that integrate AI tools for lesson planning, personalized learning, formative assessment and student engagement. Participants will discover how inquiry-driven investigations, virtual simulations, collaborative learning and authentic problem-solving can make abstract chemical concepts accessible and relevant.

The session also demonstrates how connecting chemistry to sustainability, everyday life and emerging technologies fosters scientific literacy and prepares students with essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and responsible use of AI. Attendees will leave with adaptable resources and actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately to create inclusive, innovative, and impactful science classrooms.
