Taiwo Ogunwumi (Nigerian) is a current master’s student of Environmental Risk at United Nations University, Bonn Germany. He had previous experience in GIS field surveys and cartography mapping within the humanitarian and disaster management sector. He is passionate about Volunteered Geographic Information/Crowd-sourced mapping for Sustainable Development and Disaster response, which led him to the founding of the Geohazard Risk Mapping Initiative.
