I'm a seasoned software engineer with over a decade of experience in the dynamic world of technology. My journey in this field began back in 2011, and since then, I've worn many hats and tackled a wide range of projects, from nurturing greenfield projects to optimizing established systems for peak performance.

Professionally, I've honed my skills primarily in the realm of Microsoft technologies, specializing in the versatile .NET/C# ecosystem. However, my passion for innovation drives me to constantly explore and experiment with emerging technologies and new horizons.

Creating better Web-Apps with the help of PWAs

Websites should be fast and mobile ready. Wouldn't it be nice if they could work offline? Maybe use web applications as standalone apps that look and behave the same under IOS and Android? Stay up to date without App Store updates? With the help of PWA (Progressive Web App) this should be possible without creating specific applications for Android or IOS.
In my presentation I will go through:
- the features of the PWA,
- the requirements to build a PWA,
- show some techniques that are used to make the app available offline
- show tips and tricks for creating a PWA and of course a small demo (transforming 2048 into a PWA app).
