As an adult child of divorce, a single parent and step parent, Tammy Daughtry has an immense passion for children and parents impacted by divorce and remarriage. She has a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Tammy founded CoParenting International (2003), an organization aimed at helping divorced/divided parents raise healthy kids in complex families.
The Unplanned Grandparent: Coming Alongside Families Unplanned Pregnancy with Hope and Wisdom
In this workshop, we will discuss how organizations can effectively support families impacted by unplanned pregnancy, especially teenagers and young adults. We will explore the various dynamics related to the overall experience and provide guidance on how to connect parents, young people, and adults with healthy support and resources. This includes information on resources that can be found in every community nationwide, as well as a few short videos and multiple handouts. We believe that with loving support and guidance, young people can thrive during pregnancy and the first three years following birth, resulting in positive outcomes for everyone involved, especially the unborn child.
