Teddy Teece is the Managing Partner of Kea Capital Partners (KCP), an investment firm that connects international capital with New Zealand’s light industrial sector. His experience spans entrepreneurship, investing, philanthropy, finance, technology, executive coaching, and real estate. Throughout his work, he has focused on aligning business activity with purpose, environmental responsibility, and solutions to overlooked market challenges.

Teddy's family connection to New Zealand extends across five generations, and his early life across two hemispheres and coasts helped shape a broad international perspective. He works with long-term and lifestyle-oriented investors who seek financial returns while also building stronger ties to New Zealand and contributing to its economy, environment, and infrastructure.

As Founder and Managing Partner of KCP, Teddy leads acquisition strategies across the “golden triangle,” with a focus on light industrial sectors. The firm acquires, grows, and consolidates established businesses that support the country’s infrastructure. During his first year in an Executive MBA program, he developed the firm’s business plan and investment thesis, strengthened advisory relationships, and tested the strategy. The investment model combines private equity and search fund approaches with local partnerships, community events, and philanthropic opportunities.

Earlier in his career, Teddy served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of an investment bank that experienced rapid early growth and processed eight- and nine-figure transactions. He also co-founded a marketplace for unique experiences and built partnerships with established providers. His consulting background includes co-founding a family-business advisory practice within a global consulting firm, where he supported business families, executives, and next-generation leaders across the United States, the Middle East, and New Zealand.

Teddy also developed a non-profit and executive coaching center, built several property features himself, and led teams as a general contractor. Since 2017, he has supported Navy SEAL families through a foundation where he serves in an advisory role. He has also helped raise six- and seven-figure sums for charitable causes.

Teddy Teece is an Executive MBA candidate at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He continues to work with a New Zealand-based team, support charitable organizations, work the land, write, drum, and pursue adventure while focusing on service, stewardship, long-term partnerships, businesses, and communities.
