Hybrid Microservices with HashiCorp Stack
Every enterprise system has many important components which collaborate together to run the business for the company or organization. Over time, some parts of the big system are old and need to be replaced with new ones. Technologies come and go, but the purpose remains. We cannot get rid of so that we need to have a solution to run the hybrid model some still run and serve the business and some run on the modern architecture (hybrid microservices architectural style and inter-communication by using event-driven architecture) but all they still serve the whole business of company or organization.
The presentation will walk you through the problems, and solutions, then bring you to the practical demo application which was built using the event microservices architecture, and demonstrate how to develop and deploy solutions as mentioned earlier using the HashiCorp stack e.g. Nomad, Consult Connect, Vault, and Terraform.
Service Mesh on AKS, the future is now
The presentation introduces the journey that we have faced and challenged in adopting widely distributed software systems and Microservices-based architectures in our project. Firstly, we focus on how a full-blown service mesh solution fixes perfectly into our hard use cases in the real world Microservices project. Secondly, we show you how can we resolve interesting challenges such as connect, secure, control and observe services with Istio on the powerful Azure cloud platform with a fully managed AKS. Lastly, we give you a practical understandable demo which puts it all together, to sum up, what we did.
