AI Group Design Manager at Theodo, I work alongside a team of 25+ designers. With 8 years of experience in product and design, my role today is as much about foresight as it is about execution.
I'm working on a deceptively simple question: what will the products we use in 2, 5, 10 years look like? And what does that imply, right now, for the way we design them?
Several hypotheses shape my research. The interface as we know it is disappearing, not abruptly, but through erosion: buttons give way to intentions, screens to conversations, user journeys to agents that execute them on our behalf. Users are no longer exclusively human: we already design for agents, LLMs, and systems that consume our products without ever seeing a UI. AX (Agentic Experience) is no longer a topic for trend-watching, it's a discipline that needs to be embedded into the daily workflow of product teams, now.
Behind these explorations lies a deeper question: what is the irreducible value of the designer in this new landscape? What still justifies this craft when producing screens becomes trivial? Answering this question is how we shape the Product Designer of tomorrow.
