Thomas McCorry has had a distinguished career at Constellation Brands, where he spent over 20 years contributing to the company's success in the beer, wine, and spirits sectors. In 2012, McCorry became Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Wine & Spirits division. In this position, he managed the financial strategy for the U.S. Wines & Spirits business, which generated $2.7 billion in profit. Two years later, he transitioned to Vice President of Commercial Finance, where he took on a more operational role, driving key financial initiatives such as implementing a zero-based budgeting process and centralizing non-price investments. These efforts improved financial visibility and contributed to the company's overall performance by enhancing the alignment between economic and commercial goals.
From 2021 until 2023, McCorry served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Beer Division, which had $8 billion in revenue. He led initiatives that optimized capital investments and drove significant operational efficiencies, including reducing planned capacity investments by $1.5 billion. These strategic moves helped improve cost savings and enhance margins, contributing to the division's financial strength.
Before his time at Constellation, McCorry spent seven years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen. He has been actively involved in charitable work, establishing a scholarship fund at his alma mater, SUNY Geneseo, and supporting various community initiatives.
Thomas McCorry holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo and is a Certified Public Accountant. In 2012, he completed an Executive Development Program at Dartmouth College. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his family and their yellow lab, Rocky.
