He transformed the organization in 9 months from on Premise to cloud with more than 350 engineers. To deliver the highest software quality, SAP Cloud ALM made it into the Elite category of DORA. Thomas is leading the scalability group to ensure seamless growth in all dimensions.

The different dimensions of scalability for a cloud-native application
The goal of every cloud-native application is to scale in all dimensions. The number of customers, the number of data centers, the delivery process, the test automation but also the individual mircoservice must be scaled. In this Ignite, I talk about the challenge but also the implementation of our product "SAP Cloud ALM" product. We have onboarded more than 5000 customers within 4 years and had an exciting journey. Development process of Cloud native applications
In the Session “Development process of Cloud native applications” Thomas and Timon will present the cloud native journey of SAP Cloud ALM. SAP Cloud ALM is a SaaS solution with over 2000 customers, 250 developers and more then 60 microservices. You will learn what the right question are, that you have to ask yourself when you create a new cloud product, how important it is to have the right core beliefs to reach the Elite-Level of DORA and that nothing speeds up a cloud transformation more than a paved road of tools. The session is intended to stimulate reflection why the software development process should always be understood as a system and not as the sum of the individual tools and processes.
