Thomas Webb is the founder and CEO of Worldwide Webb. A pixel art 2.5D metaverse game that pioneered NFT avatar interoperability. The Webb started out as an art exhibition and has been curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist for various exhibitions exploring how video games will change the world. He uses real-time data and how it can be applied to reveal contemporary life, while simultaneously exploring the effects of society’s dependence on technology, social media and AI on mental health.
He has been commissioned by brands such as Valentino, Mercedez-Benz and Dua Lipa, to create digital artworks, video games and experiences.
His work and video games have won numerous awards and he has delivered 2 TEDx talks on creative hacking and the future of art in a digital world
